the most recent moment that i enjoyed with my family is the one where we had our own steamboat reunion dinner . we finally had the chance to sit down together at a table to have a good meal with each other.my mom prepared lots of food ,like: vegetables,prawns,scallops,fish balls etc.During the preparation, my dad and i helped my mom with quite a number of things , after we finished everything, we sat down at the table feeling that we are truly family.
the meal was scrumptious, the taste of the soup was superb, just like the taste of the one i drank at my grandma's house on the day of the Chinese new year eve.the prawns were so fresh that its sweetness could be tasted.oh, i have almost forgot, the corn was also wonderful.we spoke over the friends and relatives that we visited over the course of the celebrations. we shared a couple of jokes making the event a light-hearted one. the dinner stretch to a good 2hrs.at that time it was getting late and our stomach were all full.We started washing up and packing.After all that we were all exhausted.
soon after, we sat on the crouch and enjoyed NATIONAL TREASURE,BOOK OF SECRETS.it was really a good movie ,our eyes were all glued to the screen.i really treasured this particular day and i would definitely remember it.

something that took place in school
everyday is a school day except for the holidays and the full days or half days that were granted from the principal . but on Friday , something took placed in school . it was the Chinese celebrations which were held in many other schools too.
as it was not the Chinese new year eve , we still had to continue with our normal curriculum but lessons ended early as we had to carry on with the celebrations and later be released early. we gathered at the hall at around 10.45am where the giving out of the eagles award was conducted.a group of students from sec 2 to 4 were given these award for good improvement . we had two recipients from our class, congratulations to them too.
soon we started with the celebrations , if i have i had remembered correctly , we started with the principal opening the concert with the GONG , followed by the Chinese orchestra performance that i should say was fine. next i think we had the presentation of the best classroom decoration award. following that we had a live performance from the three science buskers champions form our class congratulations to them too. although there were a couple of technical failures here and there throughout their performance it was relatively interesting and educational.
after that, we had a dance performance of a group of our seniors which i felt was not interesting at all, but nevertheless their willingness to try can be seen.next we enjoyed a performance from the guest for that concert . three elderly came up on stage and sung three songs in dialogue , it was quite entertaining for the students sitting as there were screams and loud applause from them.the last performance was put up by the CLDDS it was a short skit, but again the technical faults made their performance not as nice as it should have been in other words it was average.the last item was suppose to be a big group singing by teachers and all the performance, but i was quite disappointed by the poor reception of the teachers , if i remembered correctly none of the teachers went up except those who were in-charge.
that day was not as interesting as the one we enjoyed last year but nevertheless i am sure we are definitely something more and we can always do better.

a day in command school(activity 13 english RP)
it was quite a surprising and special day for me , i met my new teacher and guess who it was , it was Mazer Rachmen . can you believe it , he was the person who won the battle when the aliens attacked the earth the second time
our first meeting was pretty unusual,here are the details.i woke this morning to find this old man sitting cross legged in my room his eyes were surrounded by creases and line , he had close cut hair .deciding to leave him alone , i went to open the door but i found it lock , i tried to ask him what was all this about but he jusst would not budge. i really felt like exercising but there were no equipment in my room therefore i decided to practice lunges and kicks, one got too close to the old man and shot out and seized my left leg,he pulled me off my feet and i landed heavily on hte ground .
i was furious , there was this old man sitting in my room , locked the door and attacked me .but seeing that he was sitting down calmly again , i left him alone . as soon as i turned my back he came after me again ,he then told me that he would be my teacher and he would be the one programming all the games that i played to make them even harder and complicated.he said his peace and started to leave, but as soon as he turned his back , i decided to give him a taste of his own medicine, i attacked him and i succeeded . out of the blue , he jumped up with with extraordinary speed and knocked me out .a grin replaced his serious face and he told me his name before leaving

today is saturday(a moment spent alone doing something you enjoyed)
please dont blame me if i miss anything because this took place during the december holidays, but on the second thought , you wouldn't know if anything was missed. never mind its just a little jock of mine . A moment spent alone doing something i enjoyed , the most significant event that came across me was the 5 days i spent alone at home when my parents were on holiday at taiwan.
that period of time was the first experience i had home alone . thus i told myself that i had to something i enjoyed or i will be bored to death. after thinking for some time i decided to play the board game 'risk' . it was my favourite board game and i used to play with my primary school mates when they came over to my palce. but since there were nobody else around except me and myself. i decided to try playing with myself , i might just start to enjoy the game. i know that it seems a little out of place now but just beer with me for just a while .
and so i set out counting the infrantries and setting them out on the game board . the game developed into much engaging one after a couple of rounds, i started to enjoy myself and soon i realized that time just flies past so quickly , and hour and half had just went by . it is actually quite difficult to describe what happens i in the game therefore i have not added it in .
through those days of being alone , i learnt to enjoy the time alone but more importanly treasure the time i have with my family and also , always try anything new when you are getting lonely cause you would just have fun:)

today is wednesday( a difficulty i faced )
assembly in school today was short and sweet , maybe all the teachers and the principal were busy with the interview with the visitors from MOE
the first lesson we had was mother tongue reading period it was a Short lesson and we didn't accomplish much .DNT soon followed and it was a long one and a half hours, we good reprimanded again by one of the teachers for not cleaning the white board but after getting reprimanded twice i believe there should not be a third time.
when the recces bell finally 'gave way' and rang i was so relieved , after a simple meal , i headed back to the classroom finding one of our classmates playing on his guitar , it was quite entertaining for us and i believe he would accomplish something if he perseveres . the lesson following recess was literature but the teacher did not appear until 45 mins past because for the interview that the teachers had to attend . that was the period of time where my troubles surfaced , we decided to discuss with the class about the class gathering we were having , but the majority of students felt that it was not quite appealing and thus it started to get rowdy in the class, the reason that we wanted an amazing race was because we wanted an activity that could bond the classmates who hardly mix around with each other to further understand each other through this activity. but , it seemed that our classmates were all bored and didn't have a small enthusiasm in what we were planning for them.
those who were standing up there were getting frustrated as nobody seemed to be listening to us and there were even some of our classmates engaging in their own things. having put in so much effort and not getting a good reception is definitely unbearable. i felt like giving up but a few of classmates felt otherwise,they wanted to carry on, i am really impressed by their perseverance even when there is no full attention from our classmates.
therefore i decided to take a step back and let the class decide what they fell what is suitable for them as it makes things much more simpler, nonetheless i really hope we would be much more kind helpful and engaged next time
